How do I return an item?

Please note: Cancellations are not allowed due to the expedited shipping.


We ship with the United States Post Office (USPS). All orders are shipped via Priority Mail unless Express mail is paid for during checkout. The Post Office states that Priority Mail has a 2-3 Day Delivery Time Average. This means packages shipped via Priority mail (such as ours) will arrive, on average, within 2 -3 days from being shipped.

Typically if orders are made by 10 am (Pacific Time) we will get them in the mail the same day.  Orders will not be shipped out on Saturday, Sunday or postal holidays (please check the USPS website for a list of postal holidays). Also, please note during high volume mail traffic (such as holidays or tax day) the delivery time may slow, according to the USPS.

If you need to have them by a specific date that is near or closer then 3 days away then we suggest purchasing the Express Mail shipping option during checkout. While the USPS typically does an outstanding job on delivering our shipments to our customers on time, we can NOT guarantee delivery dates.

Orders made with date contingent comments will be sent regardless whether we think it will arrive by that date or not. Cancellations are not accepted. Please continue to read this page about acceptable returns.

Refund/Return Policy:

Original sales receipt must accompany returns.

We accept returns for exchange or refund 7 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion after 7 calendar days, we will offer an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition". Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is:

  • -without showing signs of wear or damage in any way
  • -within 7 calendar days of the delivery date
  • -must not be a special order, wholesale order or a custom order
  • -unless noted that it cannot be returned or has a different return  policy time period other than that 7 days noted in that item's  particular item description.

If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact Customer Support immediately. Items that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or a full refund.

Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.

There is a 15% restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. You MUST contact us via EMAIL within 7 days if you intend to return ANY item back to our store. To do so you may reply to any email we have ever sent you about the order or use the form on our site - Click Here. Items returned to us WITHOUT emailing us will NOT be refunded, nor returned to the customer at our cost.

Any return that reduces the number of items below the promotional free shipping (currently below $29 total sale before tax or shipping) will also reduce the refund by $7 for the promotional Priority Shipping and Handling. An example would be purchasing three sarongs and returning 2 of them - this leaves only 1 sarong purchased and $7 would be deducted from the refund.

Customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returns if AllSarongs is not at fault.

Exchange shipping costs will be: Customer to pay for shipping to AllSarongs and customer to pay for shipping back to customer.
